TAKE RAY RICE TO SCHOOL!
Representing CCBC – the Community College of Baltimore County – our very own Megan Olson & Chris Rumbley got to hang with the Baltimore Ravens’ very own Ray Rice at Radio 105.7 The Fan’s “Take Ray Rice to School” event at Scotts Branch Elementary School!
Ray took the stage in the school’s auditorium and made a heartfelt speech to the students about the importance of staying in school, respecting parents, teachers and elders, following your dreams and always asking questions.
Each class selected one student to sit on the stage near Ray, and also hand-picked students to read questions on stage with him. Ray stayed true to his message and focused on the key things that made him successful: going to school, believing in himself, working hard and never giving up. Ray was a true inspiration to the kids and emphasized the importance of getting a good education.
